OCIA Meetings
Tuesday evenings from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM
Malin Center Room #103
Sessions begin on August 20, 2024 and end on May 6, 2025.
OCIA is intended for non-Catholics who are considering becoming Catholic and for Catholics who would like to complete their Sacraments of Initiation.
The order of Christian initiation is designed for adults who, after hearing the mystery of Christ proclaimed, consciously and freely seek the living God and enter the way of faith and conversion as the Holy Spirit opens their hearts. By God's help they will be strengthened spiritually during their preparation and at the proper time will receive the sacraments fruitfully.
NCCB Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults Study Edition
In the sacraments of Christian initiation we are freed from the power of darkness and joined to Christ's death, burial, and resurrection. We receive the Spirit of filial adoption and are part of the entire people of God in the celebration of the memorial of the Lord's death and resurrection.
