Lazarus Society

Goal and Purpose

The goal of this ministry is to fulfill the Spiritual Work of Mercy of praying for the deceased.  The Lazarus Society helps to comfort the families of the deceased with their presence and prayers at the Funeral of Memorial Masses.

Responsibilities

Members of this ministry pray daily for the faithful departed and attend funeral Masses. The members will also recite the Rosary for the deceased at the funeral home upon request by the family.

Qualifications

The Lazarus Society is open to anyone who has a desire to pray for the deceased and has a compassionate heart.
