Choir

Goal and Purpose

The purpose of the Choir is to elevate the prayers of the faithful during the worship of the Mass.  The choir forms a necessary and integral part of solemn liturgy.  The arrangement of psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs are meant to enhance the worship experience and elevate the hearts and minds of the faithful to God.

Responsibilities

The choir is responsible for leading the community in song and prayer.  They also assist with congregation with the Mass responses.  All choir members are expected to work together with the Music Director.  They are also required to attend the weekly rehearsals.

Qualifications

Any one who has a voice and a desire to sing is welcome to participate in the choir.
