Faith Formation Catechist

Mission:

The Mission of our Faith Formation program is to help families prepare their children to fulfill their purpose in life of knowing, loving, and serving God and loving their neighbor as themselves. 


Responsibilities:

Catechists teach the Catholic faith to children in the classroom and update parents on their progress. They must complete a Level II Fingerprint Background Check and the Diocesan Safe Environment Online Course.


Qualifications:

Catechists must be practicing Catholics (Sacraments of Initiation and Precepts of the Church) and should genuinely enjoy children or teenagers. They should also be lifelong learners continuing to learn more and more about the faith.


Schedule:

All Faith Formation classes meet most Sundays:


  • Pre-K through 7th Grade is 10:15-11:30am
  • Confirmation Prep (usually 8th Grade) is 12:05-1:35pm
  • Youth Group (8th - 12th Grades) is 6-7:30pm
