We are the Church

The Church is comprised of all believers referred to as the People of God. Ordained clergy (Bishops, priests and deacons) have a distinct role and function in the Church. The clergy are responsible for the leadership, growth, and development of the Church and her members. All of the baptized are a part of the Body of Christ. Together with ordained ministers, the lay faithful are called to live out their baptism through spreading the gospel message and ministering to people in need. All members of the Church are called to live their faith in both word and deed. Each of us must be good stewards of the time, talent, and treasure that God has blessed us with. By sharing our gifts generously and freely with others, we show the world God's love in action.
